Father loved to dance with this beautiful Rosemary, and suffered with the lack of 'swing ' of some his other relatives. But he and Freddy showed their grace and charm at many a event, leading their lucky partners around the dance floor. He loved the music of his period, had a wonderful whistle and an easy baritone to share many of his favorite tunes.
One of my favorite of his family stories was how his mother tried to give he and Miner singing lessons with "Aunt Cotty", Madame Cotrelli, with he and Miner both working to be as uncooperative as possible. The formal lessons ended!
